Small Business Owners (SBOs) MUST maximize their LOCAL outreach through a Full and Complete SEO Strategy to capture the most LOCAL Customers.
Following is NOT a ‘Full and Complete SEO Strategy’ but hot dog… it’s a great start.
Google My Business
Small Business Owners (SBOs) have got to enter ‘Full and Complete’ and UP-TO-DATE information on their Google My Business Listing. Make sure to include Accurate Spelling, Owners Names, Names of Key Personnel, ALL Hours of Operation, Services Offered, Phone Numbers, emails, Business Address, Photos, and on and on. A Google My Business Listing is FREE and the LOCAL reach is tremendous. If you don’t have your Google My Business Listing yet… Let’s RevitUp!
Ask Your Customers for Reviews
Hey… you should PAY ME for this one… but here it is… FOR FREE. The next time you print your business cards, and you have a blank white space on the back of your card, consider printing a direct message that invites your Customer to ‘Leave-A-Review’, and include a link to your Google-My-Business page, and then… PURPOSELY hand the card to your Customer… and VERBALLY make a request to your Customer for a review. MOST Customers will gladly leave a review… if you kindly ask for one… and… if you DO deliver stupendous Customer Service, there won’t be a need to BRIBE your Customer with a coupon or some silly reward… but you gotta ask… nicely.
BONUS TIP: Buy a Domain Name and then forward that Domain Name to your Google My Business page. Once done, print the FORWARDED Domain Name on the back of your business card. This makes it super easy for your Customer to leave a review.
